Jharkhand State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation(JSF&CSCL) is a Government company, set up by the Government of Jharkhand for managing the Public Distribution System operations in the State. The Corporation procures food grains (wheat and rice), salt, sugar, etc. from the Food Corporation of India and through open market sourcing, stores the procured commodities in its warehouses across the state and distributes these to various fair price shops in the state.

JSF&CSCL is pivotal organization for the public distribution system in jharkhand. The corporation is having its head office in Ranchi, districts offices in district headquarters and godowns in most of the Block centres to undertake its key functions.

Commodities distributed by JSF&CSCL include food grains, sugar and iodized salt. The corporation caters to various government schemes under PDS like Priority Household(PHH), Antyodaya Anna Yojna(AAY), welfare schemes like mid-day meals schemes(MDM), integrated child development scheme(ICDS) and other government schemes. It is responsible for the procurement, storage and delivery of commodities within the State of Jharkhand for the sbove schemes. The corporation is also responsible for managing the supply chain operations commodities in the event of any calamity in any part of state.
